Please advise description before purchasing. Good for parts or rebuild.Here I have a cater Thermo quad 4 barrel carburetor. The main part that is damaged is the plastic body as seen in the pictures you have two holes, one near the fuel delivery and a big hole near the throttle cables. Other than that all four barrels move and open and close it is mostly there, but I wouldn’t say completely complete. The part will need a good rebuild and some TLC. Here I have a Carter Thermo-Quad carburetor this carburetor will be good for parts or a good rebuild. The part number is 6-2141, and the base number is 9078S 17277. The plastic is in good shape only a few chips, but nothing to hurtful to worry about. Please note that the carburetor has some top damage as seen on the very last picture please advise. All four barrels on the base do move in or in functional condition same pain for the top. Some small miscellaneous parts are missing, but the parts will be easy to find. This carb has at some point had a helicoil installed in the fuel inlet. The original vacuum choke pull off is junk, and the throttle plates are rusty. Otherwise looks like a great core. I did not open it to look at the inside. All linkages move freely. Has BE secondary rods. Obviously will need overhaul. JJR
