This 1955-1962 Chevy Corvette LEFT Rear Drum Brake Backing Plate is an original used GM part. For an additional fee we can media blast and prime the part as shown in the photo. The way to distinguish left from right is the hole where the emergency brake cable enters. The hole should point toward the front of the vehicle. Some backing plates may have some pitting. Another distinguishing factor is that the rim of the plate is slightly lower than the inner pads of the backing plate.
