Please advise description before purchasing.  this carburetor would be good for parts or a good rebuild. Everything at the top of the carburetor does move freely as it should, but the bottom of the carb is seized shut due to corrosion. One of the fins on the base of the carburetor is pushed out due to corrosion as seen in the pictures of the base. Other than that, the carburetor is mostly there. This carburetor is a general motors Rochester Q-Jet the manufacturing number is 29244 KA 1539. If you have any more questions, please let me know. Thank you for advising description.

This is a vintage Stromberg downdraft carburetor in good condition. Made by Stromberg for possibly 1949 - 52 Chrysler 6-cylinder flatheads. May fit other models including DeSoto, Dodge and Plymouth. The throttle shaft is nice and tight with little play. Mounting holes are 2 15/16" from center to center. This carburetor looks complete except for the throttle rod. Everything moves as it should. Carburetor has all of the correct hardware. Needs cleaning. Also, may need rebuilding. This carb will be very carefully packaged and sent USPS. Buyer pays shipping.
