For Sale: Remanufactured Zenith, 228AV11, 1-barrel, downdraft, carburetor originally designed and used on 1950 - 1961 GMC inline 6 engines. This size carb is ideal for either a 228 for 248 cubic inch GMC inline 6. It would be on the small side for a 270. Bolt hole spread on throttle body is 2.70". This carburetor is specifically for an "AV" style of intake manifold (see photo) where the throttle shaft and choke shaft are parallel. If you need a "BV" carb, I have one available as well so please reach out. Carburetor was completely dismantled, cleaned, polished and rebuild using a new, ethanol-friendly, carb kit. The kits have gone up significantly in price so unfortunately, I've had to raise my prices to cover costs. Carb is really to install.
