Here is a Vintage American Bosch 12 Volt 2.4 amp Voltage Regulator Type EAV 523-50. This is a very cool piece. I am not sure how the connections on the side work but the knurled aluminum looks fancy and the chrome acorn nut on top indicate it is a special piece. I believe there should be a washer on top for the nut to tighten down onto the cover (common hardware). The internals look to be complete and in good condition.
