This is one used rocker arm stud from a set of 7J2 cylinder heads. These have a hollow portion at the bottom. Even though the 7J2 head did not have an oil galley. Maybe Pontiac put it there to let the air escape when pressing in the stud? Maybe they were using up old stock? Who knows. These are standard size. Measurements are: - Overall length: 2.585" - OD: .4345: - Distance from top of stud to bottom of threads: .750" - Distance from top of stud to oil "exit" hole: 1.650" - Threads are 3/8-24 These are USED! You may have to knurl them slightly to get enough press in an original hole. I am posting these in case someone has a broken rocker stud and does not want to drill/tap threads while their engine is assembled in their car. Thanks for reading. R05
