Toyota Prius NICKEL Plated Copper Bus Bars and NICKEL Plated Bus Bar Nuts CT200H

Quality Toyota nickel plated copper bus bars and nickel plated nuts.  Most nickel plated bus bar kits have stainless steel nuts.  Stainless steel nuts are not designed for hybrid batteries and will corrode and cause issues quickly!  These are the good NICKEL plated nuts with the smooth bottom finish that won't scratch your bus bars which reduces conductivity and gives surface area for corrosion!  This kit includes 27 bus bars and 58 nuts to secure them which will leave you an extra bus bar and 2 extra nuts just in case.  This will work for any 28 module or less Toyota hybrid battery like any Prius made before 2017 and Lexus CT200H. - Firstly, hybrid battery nuts that aren't flat (grooved) won't be ideal to get maximum electrical contact for the best connection for your hybrid battery performance.  Nickel plated copper is ideal for its corrosion resistance.  **There are cheaper kits out there using stainless steel and those will be corroded in under a year!** There are kits that don't use the same metal and that can lead to increased corrosion as well.  These are nickel plated bus bars and nuts. **Wire brush cleaning your existing bus bars will only scratch them and then will cause corrosion when surface contact area decreases, they will corrode quickly.** I posted a picture of some stainless steel nuts I removed on a battery put together less than a year ago and it's not good.  Corrosion will kill your battery and your hybrid ECU! If you are going to spend the time to fix your battery, don't cut corners and do it right the first time!
