Vintage Speed's cast iron Rochester primary (center carb) small base. These have all new extended shafts, plated throttle plates, and new mixture screws and springs, with the correct GM linkage, carb arm. Leaky throttle shafts cause tri power idle problems. All bases are machined flat on both sides. These primary bases all have the provision for ported vacuum and tapped for manifold vacuum for crankcase PCV or power brakes. If you want steel conversion bases these are the finest money can buy. (No core charge on these) Another fine part from Charlie Price's Vintage Speed.
