THANK YOU.**_ **Item Description:** Vintage restored / rebuilt German distributor for many Volkswagen air cooled engines. **Please confirm this is correct for your specific application.** Bosch part number 0 231 170 034 VW part number 043 905 205 Original manufacture date code 422, February 1974. Has been completely disassembled, cleaned, and lubed. Body has been gently media blasted, and body polished inside and out. Tested, fully functional, good used original German vacuum canister. New fiber washers. New Bosch points, rotor, cap (copper contacts), and condenser. The finish on the new Bosch caps and rotors are kinda cosmetically ugly, but function just fine. Has original Bosch dust cover. Clips and screws have been re-plated clear (silver) zinc. Proper Bosch grease used throughout. Tested on Sun distributor machine.
