We are selling this unit outright so a core exchange is not needed. This unit has been bench tested using a D&V test bench and carries a 3 YEAR WARRANTY. As with all alternators, please make sure to install this unit in a vehicle which has a fully charged and load-tested battery. Also, please check all of the electrical connections related to the alternator to verify that there are no frayed or corroded cables, poor battery terminal clamps, or any loose or corroded connections in the system. The warranty is 3 years from date of purchase. Units which have been damaged due to negligence on the part of the installer are not covered under warranty.
