1984-1987 Reconditioned Cast Iron Cylinder Head for Ford/Mercury 2.3L/140 CID L4, 8V OHV ( IN LINE ) With Valves and Springs only, Casting # E43E-AJ, 2F55, Vin : R, S, X, Compatible With : Ford Tempo, Mercury Topaz, ( No Core Charge ) C.H.E Stock # 2V0308VS \- Before making a purchase, please check photos and casting number against your existing casting. - If the buyer purchases the incorrect cylinder head or decides to cancel the order for any other personal reason, a 10% re-stocking fee will be charged, and the buyer is responsible for returning freight. \- C.H.E. will cover return freight if the error was on our behalf. \- Since this is a used casting, there are obvious chips and scratches, but they won't impair the cylinder head's functionality. Recondition includes: \- Pressure test casting for cracks \- Reface valves (replace as necessary) \- Replace valve springs, valve guides, keepers, and retainers as necessary \- Cut valve seats with 3 angle cutter (3 angle valve job) \- Resurface cylinder head \- Reassemble Cylinder head is the same as is shown in the pictures and is 100% inspected before shipping C.H.E Will only accept complete core returns only. Core must have valves, springs, retainers, keepers, shims, cams, cam caps, buckets, lifters, bolts. C.H.E will not accept cracked or damaged returned cores. ( No core charge ) . One year warranty is included as long as the engine is not overheated, used in a race environment or damaged per buyer or mechanic faulty installation. Warranty only includes repair or replacement of cylinder head. No labor or extra parts will be covered.
