Description:  A rebuilt German Volkswagen 70MM Gas Cap.   This cap fits the 1961-1967 Beetle and Karmann Ghia, 1968-1971 Bus/Truck/Westfalia, and 1973-1974 Thing.    Note some Beetles, Ghias, and Things may have a Brazil replacement fuel tank that uses a smaller fuel cap that latches on the inside of the fuel tank filler opening that this cap will not fit.    The cap we are offering is the original German one that fits the original style fuel tanks with the locking lugs on the outside of the fuel filler opening.   Look at the image that shows the inside of the fuel cap to ensure you are getting the cap you need.    Note as these are original caps that are over 50 years old, they may have a minor few corrosion pits, or scratches, but are generally very nice looking with a plated as original, not painted surface for durabilty.   Cap includes a new seal gasket.
