Ready for Rebuild Rochester 4 BRL Carburetor 17084226 1981 - 86 Chevy Truck

This is a complete Quadajet M4MC ready for overhaul.    Date code:  August 1983. Chevrolet / GMC truck auto transmission.   I disassembled it for inspection. ( I am a retired Chevrolet technician and have overhauled 100's of these.) The bowl is clean and throttle shafts feel good.   The idle mixture screw covers are removed from the base plate so you can adjust them with a double D tool.   It looks like it was overhauled recently. The  vacuum break works. The electric choke resistance tests good. The throttle stop solenoid works.    I would recommend buying a overhaul kit, a float and the long style paper fuel filter with the roll-over valve. You may ask, why I didn't overhaul it and sell it as a rebuilt? There are too many variables out of my control to be able to guarantee it.
