Used black dash mounted cup holder for a 1997-2004 Mercedes Benz R170 SLK230 / SLK320 Opens and shuts properly. The release button functions as it should. The mounting tabs are all good. There are some imperfections on the tray but they don't have any effect on the functionality. One pic shows a small piece missing on the driver side. One the sides there are small cracks. These cup holders were not meant for large heavy drinks. This cupholder should last for a long time if it is used for small cups only. THE DASHBOARD NEEDS TO BE REMOVED TO REPLACE THIS PART. IT CAN BE DONE IN ABOUT AN HOUR OR TWO BUT IF YOU ARE HAVING A SHOP REPLACE THIS PART BE SURE TO GET A QUOTE FROM THEM BEFORE BUYING THIS PART.
