Any questions? please ask before buying. Please spend the time and effort to determine both the measured tire diameter and the rear ratio, so you get the right gear. No returns, so It's up to you to make sure you know what you need. IF YOU NEED MORE THAN ONE, BUY 2 OR 3, ETC. Use one of these to correct your speedometer after a rear end gear change or tire size change. PLEASE MEASURE YOUR TIRES! Thanks for looking. ONE BUY IT NOW PURCHASE IS FOR ONE GEAR ONLY. All gears are inspected and cleaned, I only sell gears in like new condition. . MEASURE MEASURE MEASURE These do not fit 65 and earlier cars or trucks. These do not fit MOST mid to late 80's to 92 DODGE/ JEEP Dana 300 transfer cases on dodge & jeeps or Dodge Dakota's in this year range , too. I have used gears available from $25.00 delivered and new gears available up to $76 delivered. These won't fit Aspen & Volare cars or 76 or 77 up b bodies with the all plastic gear (I HAVE SOME OF THE ALL PLASTIC GEARS, message me) held on with a metal clip unless you change to the older style speedometer cable. Then you'd need the older style speedometer housing to hold these gears. And a long shaft gear. You can identify if your car has this all plastic type of gear if the speedometer cable does not have a large hex nut where it fits into the speedo housing at the trans. These won't fit certain mid & late 70'd 4wd trucks, they use an all steel type of gear. To find what gear you need , 1)Measure your tire diameter 2) follow the tire diameter row down. 3) Know your rear ratio, follow the correct ratio column across until the ratio and diameter row & column meet. There you'll find the correct tooth gear you need to make your speedometer correct. Any questions please ask. Need more than one? Let me know. These are easy to change. Jack up the drivers side of the car. Loosen, but don’t remove the speedo cable. Remove hold down bolt and hold down clamp. Get a pan underneath to catch fluid. Pull the housing & cable out( the gear comes with it). Now disconnect the speedo cable. Clean the housing so you can read the index marks and numbers on the outside of the housing. Put the new gear in the housing, line up the index mark on the case with the correct index mark on the housing (for the teeth range you’re using). Insert housing, hold down & bolt at the correct position tighten & reattach cable. If you lost fluid, up to a quart, refill and you’re done. Now your speedometer is back to the correct MPH.
