Original equipment (OE), genuine Volkswagen 2.0L CJAA TDI cylinder block / crankcase. Cylinder block was salvaged with unknown mileage. At a minimum, block will need a thorough cleaning. At buyer's discretion, block _may_ be rebuilt as is. As this is a used block, machining may be required (cylinder head mating surface may need resurfaced, cylinders may need honed or bored, etc.). Additionally, buyer may wish to blast and repaint the block as some of the original coating may be missing.
