Avoid costly replacement.** **To install follow instruction below:** **1- clean the area where old valve is mounted before removing the old overdrive valve. clean the back where (2)  mounting bolts are** **2-wash the back and front of the valve area with carburetor cleaner/brake cleaner etc. blow air if possible to clean the dirt** **3-Remove the old valve facing up.** **4-Do not clean the area after the old valve is removed. Dirt will fall in to transmission port causing damages to transmission.** **5-install new valve with O-rings already installed on the valve. DO not place the o-rings on the transmission side first** **6-Mount two bolts and torque them to 10 ft lb.** **7-Connect cable to your old cable connector with butt connector provided and crimp it.Roll black tape over the connector to prevent water or moisture onto wiring harness .** **8-Start the engine in park  and check for ATF leaks around the valve lower seals and upper cable cover seal for up to 3 minutes** **9- Drain old ATF fluid from transmission oil pan and fill the transmission with new approved ATF fluid**
