This is a new assembly, but I am selling it used as it came from a shop, and I cannot guarantee it was not test fitted to a car. No sign of cooland, etc. anywhere. Technically, this is a 1967 1968 no AC box, as the door flips up and down instead of left right like the 1965 1966 doors. The mounting bracket mount was moved back a bit, but the hole to mount under the dash remained the same, so they are interchangeable. Early 1964 1/2 and some 1965 used a 2 speed switch, off in the center, low on the left and high on the right, and no resistor on the front of the box. This is the 3 speed, where the switch starts at the left and goes right, 1 then 2 then 3. So if you have an early car, you would need to change out the switch to work correctly. Anyway, the basic box without motor and core sells for $220. A new motor with fan is about $90, and a brass core is $80. I am sure somewhere you can find them for less. So a complete would run about $380 I am selling this for $285 and a buy it now gets the plenum also.
