Offered for sale is a vintage Motor Guard bypass oil filter. These were universal remote oil cleaners designed to run using a toilet paper roll as a filter element. This vintage Motor Guard oil cleaner is “new old stock” and still sealed within it’s original manufacturer’s cardboard packaging. Due to not being able to inspect the contents without damaging the packaging, I am selling these Motor Guard oil cleaners “as-is”. If you choose to open the item you can expect possible light surface rust on the steel components as well as age related degradation of the paper and rubber components (rubber and paper components should be changed out with new before using on a vehicle). The packaging is shelf worn and in generally poor condition (age related discoloration, dented and crushed corners, mild tearing and punctures may be present). No engine block adapter is included in the sale and it will have to be provided by the buyer. Make sure to check my other listings - I am selling some Motor Guard block adapters separately. Note - Toilet paper roll sizes have changed over the years so don’t expect to just grab a modern roll and throw it in the housing (you are going to have to find one that fits through trial and error).
