I don't know what the fabric is but it feels soft as flannel. This is meant for indoor and is custom for the W221 Mercedes models made from 2005 to 2013 - Excellent Dust Protection, Breathable, Lightweight. I never used it outside and only had it for a couple of years inside. Very nice condition. I sold the car so I don't have a photo of it on the car. No rips or tears or stains. If you don't like it send it back for a refund. A cover of this quality new is $400-500.
