These are re-conditioned fuel cooler fittings for a Mercedes-Benz. Found mainly on USA-Made 107 and 126 chassis cars. Gray-Market cars did not use these I believe. The cooler goes between the a/c compressor suction hose and the suction pipe at the firewall. It works when you use the a/c. The suction side of the a/c system, if working properly, gets very cold as the freon passes through this pipe. The fuel inlet and outlet will get cold and the out going fuel which is a whole cooler now is sent back to the fuel tank most likely to prevent a vapor lock on hot days. These fittings were cleaned, media-blasted and clear-coated. You may use them for other fuel cooling issues with other cars as you see fit. I don't know the fuel pressure of the Mercedes-Benz these came off of for hose clamping concerns. This listing is only for the cooler fittings which came off of an 88 560SEL.
