This is a re-conditioned fuel cooler for a Mercedes-Benz. Found mainly on USA-Made 107 and 126 chassis cars. Gray-Market cars did not use these I believe. It goes between the a/c compressor suction hose and the suction pipe at the firewall. It works when you use the a/c. The suction side of the a/c system, if working properly, gets very cold as the freon passes through this pipe. The fuel inlet and outlet will get cold and the out going fuel which is a whole cooler now is sent back to the fuel tank most likely to prevent a vapor lock on hot days. My cooler pipe has been cleaned, media blasted and clear-coated. New foam comes with it to help insulate the heat exchange process. 90 day warranty.
