This is an LS1 aluminum engine block that was pulled form a 2002 Camaro SS with just under 30K miles. The casting number is 12559378. This is the later style LS1 block that has a lot of upgrades from the original. This block has never been punched and is a standard bore. It was given a quick hone before putting in storage. It will need a finish hone to match your pistons and ring combination. There is a small ding on the front corner of the block. This is causemetic only and won't affect anything.
