This is a Holley List 1850-3 600 vacuum secondary carburetor main body from 1988 (2318 date code). Cleaned, inspected, vapor honed, and refinished with a satin silver color. 40 years old but in excellent condition and ready to fuel for 40 more years; please see the photos. A removable set screw is installed in the hot air hole for the choke (see the photo); keep if not using a choke that needs this port open or it will be a vacuum leak. This 600 main body has a 1-9/16 throttle bore; it will work only with base plates with that throttle bore. This cannot be used with 1-11/16 bore base plates used with 650 to 780 vacuum secondary carburetors. 1850 carburetors were 4160 type (fixed secondary metering plate). These bodies can be used as original, or the carburetor can be converted to 4150 type (with a secondary metering block) if a dual feed fuel inlet and the secondary metering block are desired.
