Used BMW 1271429 11331271429 Rocker arm without eccentric E28 with M20 engine, E30 with M20 engine, E34 with M20 engine Contact surface should be a symmetrical dome, and this part has noticeable wear. Rocker arms and camshafts wear as a closely matched set; so when dismantling and reassembling an engine it’s essential to keep track of the original positions. A mismatch will cause contact at an angle instead of a flat surface. Even if this is at a microscopic level, the wear will be much faster, and once the hardened surface layer is worn away, the wear will be faster yet. For this reason, even though I do sell used camshafts rocker arms, they are for the buyer who is aware of these risks and nevertheless intent on saving money albeit at the expense of engine longevity. I advise against buying this item for use with a new part or if the intent is long engine life.
