Part # 000 078 02 92 is a pre-owned Bosch regulator part. My reference book (shown in photo gallery) describes this as a “Diaphragm Dashpot EFI” that is mounted on a bracket next to the fuel pressure regulator. It is Bosch part 0 280 160 002. Hopefully the reference book pictures help with part interchange information. It fits R107/C107, W108/109, W110/111, and W116 models with M116 and M117 motors. This may include the 116 chassis 350SE and 350SEL models that were not shipped to the US market. Most commonly found on 450SL and 450SLC’s and 450SE and 450SEL’s.
