Thanks for your consideration **Common question: What size kit do I need?** This caliper seal & boot kit is a 40mm size for 1999-04 Mustang Cobra dual piston calipers including some Mach1 style & Bullitt style. Some show this caliper size as a 40.5mm but is the same either way, 40mm or 40.5mm. This kit also fits other applications including Ford Racing calipers and Some GM products, including certain 84-87 Corvette, etc. Confirm your application & fitment before your purchase. Replacement Caliper Seal and Boot Kit for 1999-2004 Mustang Cobra calipers with dual 40mm piston front calipers. Confirm the diameter of you caliper pistons before you purchase. Many of the calipers in the later Ford Racing caliper kits use the 40mm pistons. This includes but not limited to 10th anniversary caliper kits, Bullitt kits, Mach 1 kits, Cobra kits and more. No matter what your caliper style please confirm you need this larger 40mm seal kit before you purchase. This kit will fit the Mustang Cobra dual piston caliper using the larger 40mm - pistons. Each kit will do one caliper. Contains 2 seals & boots per kit. Purchase 2 kits to do both L&R sides. This kit may also fit other vehicles that use dual piston 40 mm calipers such as the Corvette, Camaro and Firebird. You must confirm your fitment first. I do not have the interchange for other vehicles on this set, only the Mustang. As you may have found out these seals are very hard to find. Sometimes this seal kit may sellout locally. Sometimes they are packaged differently but all are the same high quality seal kits. **Note on caliper piston sizes:** The size of the caliper pistons changed from 38mm that was used on the 94-98 Cobra to a slightly larger 40mm piston size on the 99 and up Cobra. If you are uncertain you can just measure the diameter of your pistons to see what size kit you need. I also carry 38mm kits and also the 45mm kits that fit the 99 and up GT/V6 calipers. Do not waste money buying new or rebuilt calipers when you can clean-up and rebuild your existing ones! You can easily disassemble, clean and install these new seals in just an hour or so. This kit will fit the 1999-2004, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 99, 00, 01, 03, 04 model year. Also anyone that is upgrading a 1979 and up Mustang with the larger 5 lug brakes using the 99 and up calipers, it is a great idea to disassemble, clean and replace these seals before you install them the caliper on your car.
