As shown there are bends and warps in them. This is caused by cramming them into the smallest possible box to keep shipping affordable. If the box was large enough to accommodate not folding these it would have to be shipped as "freight" and cost hundreds of dollars! So to remedy the wrinkles and bends all you have to do is use heat, such as a hair dryer, or a hot car with some books on the corners and stubborn bends, with some time they'll flatten right back out. If you'd like to protect your carpet, and have an easy to clean liner that can be washed off with the hose and placed back in the car then these might be for you.
