F100 F150 Motor Mount Stands Perches 302 351 400 mid1969-79 , Unfinished DIY

This listing sells one set of left and right custom fabricated motor stands re-designed from Ford F100/F150 2-wheel drive truck OEM stands of small-block V8 design.These are not a factory stamped design and do not resemble original Ford parts.They do have exactly the same OEM bolting patterns and bolt hole coordinates.These stands provide the correct angles necessary for factory-original engine placement: drivetrain and driveshaft will align as designed, firewall carburetor brackets will line up, exhaust will have factory clearance, and fan will center in its shroud. Material is 0.25 inch ASTM A529-14 Gr55.   Tensile strength is 67% higher than OEM design. Fit 2-wheel drive Ford fifth generation F100 models from mid1969-1972, and also fit Ford sixth generation F100 and F150 trucks from 1973-1979.Will accommodate the V8 smallblock patterned Ford engines including the 302Windsor, 302Cleveland, 351Windsor, 351Cleveland, 351Midland, and the 400Midland. Can be used in certain cases where the small-block V8 design was not an option, but only when custom drilling of the lower crossmember mounting holes is performed.Bolt these stands into the factory upper frame mounting holes in order to determine correct drilling locations of the crossmember.These stands and this procedure is valid for 1965-mid1969 fifth generation F100 models and 1965-1979 F250 models.This procedure is only valid for 2-wheel drive models with Twin I-Beam suspension.
