After 10+ years, the majority of these 14 bulbs fail and your backlighting becomes dim or non existent. We replace all 14 bulbs with 2024 edition **LED bulbs which have lifetimes of 10,000+ hours**. LEDs are much brighter and use less amperage (aren't nearly as hot as incandescent). Additionally, poor manufacturing of components on the board cause issues with the climate control display.
