The pistons and crankshaft are not included. All cylinder walls still show original honing marks. The #5 cylinder has light scuffing from piston contact and feels slightly rough to a passing fingernail. There are no deep score marks, but the surface will likely need to be cleaned up or repaired. The remaining cylinder linings have no significant or widespread scuffing. Cooling passages are clean and smooth, and the exterior has no rubbing or cracks. All mounting points are intact. Production for the "model year" usually begins in September of the previous calendar year, so if you have a 1995 model BMW it will have been produced anywhere between 9/94 - 8/95.
