It might work fine, we don't know. This is untested, has scratches on faceplate near top and where it says "MAX A/C," though the color is not faded the way you would expect with lots of use. We cannot test and believe it may need repair to work properly. Best guess is 50/50: either someone returned it because of the scratch on the faceplate, and it could be otherwise fine, or someone used it for a while and it didn't work properly, so they returned it. We don't want to risk your time and money when we don't have any certainty, so it's listed as "for parts."
