Oil canister from a Chevy 283, this style was used on 1956-1967 Chevy engines. It is perfect for protecting your oil filter from being damaged when driving off road or racing on a dirt track. This filter assembly does not include the seal for the bypass adapter to engine block. The upper filter centering wedge inner hole is a little bit crooked but very functionable. See pictures.
