DESCRIPTION ## This is a used adapter housing to put an Allison 2000 transmission behind your LS engine. It is made of cast iron. This is a factory item that was used in fleet vehicles. The adapter is an SAE 3 adapter size. You CANNOT put the Duramax Allison 1000 transmission on this adapter. You can only use Allison 2000 transmissions with the SAE 3 size bell housing on this adapter. The cast number is 29551163. If you need an Allison 2000 transmission core to build, let me know.
