When you transfer the resistor from the old motor to the new motor make sure you install it on the same exact configuration, pin for pin. Taking a picture to have a visual comparison of the old intact motor before you transfer the resistor may help you install it correctly on the new motor. If you don't transfer the resistor, damage it or install it wrong the gauge will not operate correctly. The resistor is no longer available and we do not include the resistor with your purchase.
