We carefully examine each injector for any type of damage that would interfere with performance or installation, such as broken plug connectors, body cracks and excessive rust. These injectors are recycled and not rebuilt._** **_Injectors are tested for proper coil resistance and current draw to ensure the coil is functioning within OEM specifications._** **_Injectors are carefully bead blasted to remove external paint and surface rust._** **_External Parts, such as O-rings, filters and pintle caps are removed and discarded._** **_Each injector is submerged in a heated ultrasonic bath while being cycled on and off; this process breaks up internal debris such as caramelized fuel and carbon build-up at discharge end of the injector._** **_Injectors are now submerged in our custom ultrasonic tank built especially for back flushing.   This is the most crucial step implemented in our cleaning process, using vacuum to pull cleaning fluid backwards through the injector, pulling micro-debris out of the injector._** **_Injectors are rinsed and purged of cleaning fluid._** **_It’s time to inspect the spray patter of the injectors; we choose to use the ASNU Flow Bench.   Each injector is flow tested at the industry standard of 43.5 PSI through up to 12 duty cycles.   During this test spray patterns are visually inspected so that we know the injector is spraying properly through any range of operation._** **_The next test is to measure the volume each fuel injector flows; we use the industry standard flowing agent, Heptane.   After this process the flow rate for each injector is recorded allowing us to match injectors into a flow matched set._** **_Once the flow test is complete, each injector is polished and clear coated with a rust inhibitor; injectors are oiled internally and fitted with new filters, O-rings and pintle caps._** **_We inspect each injector once again before packaging and shipping to you._** **_Motor Man Fuel Injection is a family owned and operated company.
