Big Block Chevy Oil Pan w/ Timing Cover Hole Pre 68 396 427 OEM GM REAL DEAL BBC

This is an original GM oil pan off a 1967 Impala 396 engine. I believe this pan will fit many Big Block Chevy applications. That said, I believe this pan is unique to pre 1968 engines since it has the hole in the center of the front seal area for a bolt to attach to the timing cover. . This bolt hole was only used through the 1967 model year and was eliminated in 1968. I personally removed this from a1967 Cherolet fullsize 396 engine. This may be the pan you have been hunting for. This pan is in good original condition overall. It looks very nice over all. It has a dent in the cetner hump as shown. This could be worked out and made to disappear during the paint process.   The is also a pin hole in the lower sump that will need to be welded as shown. This is a real deal OEM GM pan.
