Big Block Chevy 3963512 Engine Block 69-71 427 454 Standard Bore BBC REAL DEAL!

This is an original GM Big Block Chevy engine block with factory OEM main caps. The casting number is 3963512. The 3963512 block was used 1969-1971 Big Block Chevy 427 and 454 applications.   Finding one of these 3963512 blocks not an easy task. Don't miss this true original 3963512 block. This block is in good condition overall. This recently came out of the estate of a life long hot rodder who had this block is his personal stash for a future build. These "512" blocks are known for being an awesome foundation for high performance builds. The bores all are very clean with no ring ridge at the tops. The cylinders measure 4.25 which is standard bore. There is no ridge at the tops of any cylinders. There are also no sleeves or other issues. The cylinders all look very nice with light pitting from decades of storage.    Don't Miss It! The casting date on this block is L 5 70 which decodes as December 5th, 1970. The pad in the front side of the deck surface on the passenger side of the block is stamped T0109CPD 11C122110 as shown. The T0109CPD shows this engine left the factory as a LS5 454/365HP  engine in a Chevrolet fullsize, Chevelle, El Camino, or Monte Carlo. The 11C12210 is the partial VIN of the car it was originallu installed in. Don't miss this awesome factory installed engine block.
