With this type of programming the sensor will function just like a new OEM sensor. In most cases you will need to perform a relearn on the vehicle once the sensor has been installed. This procedure updates the vehicle's system with any new sensor IDs. We can provide information on this procedure with your order. -ID CLONED: The sensor IDs stored in your vehicle's computer are read from the vehicle via the OBDII port prior to sensor programming. The sensor(s) can then be programmed to work with the vehicle and are assigned with ID(s) that are already stored, negating the need for a relearn.
