Up for purchase is a USED OEM rear retractable cup holder for an 98-02 Subaru Forester. Faceplate is GRAY in color and is in good, used condition with some wear, scuffs and scratches on the faceplate. Cup holder rings **TEND TO STAY INSIDE THE HOUSIN** G when the cover is opened and have to be pulled down manually. Sometimes they drop on their own, but usually they stay in, which is common with these. ALSO, when you go to close the lid, the point on the LH ring that is supposed to slide under the RH ring to lift them up often hits the ring instead causing them to bind up and NOT go up on their own. Every once and a while it will go under and work as it should, but most times it hits the ring and they have to be put back manually. If it hits the ring and you keep pushing with force you can possibly break the rings. This is also common with these. Once they are down they function as they should, they will just usually need to be pulled down and put back manually.
