Warranty covers the item and unfortunately not the labor costs. Electrical items are generally shipped with cut off wires from the connectors. This is not done to inconvenience the buyer in any way but as a courtesy to the buyer. If your connector is broken splice one of the included pieces in, if not disregard the item. Most items will ship same day as purchased unless weekends, holidays, or after 3:30 pm eastern time. Item will ship from PA please allow some time for delivery if shipping to the west coast, non-contiguous US, or international destinations.
