Mercedes Benz W202 C230, C280, C36, C43 OEM Hirschmann Power Antenna has been rebuilt top to bottom. I rebuild and test each antenna with the procedure below: • Complete disassembly of the antenna assembly • Motor strength test • Gear inspection • Antenna gear-tooth cable inspection • Antenna mast inspection • Replacement of any and all part(s) causing or contributing to the antenna not working properly. (Excluding black power supply box on top on antenna). • Complete greasing of the antenna assembly and reassembly • Final bench testing Note: You must send your old power antenna to me prior to me sending out your rebuilt antenna that you have purchased. This is because not enough buyers keep their word and send in their antennas after I have sent out their purchased one and I need certain parts inside these to be able to continue offering rebuilt antennas to future customers. I reserve the right to cancel an order if a buyer chooses not to follow this policy. Thank you for your understanding ! Note: This rebuild service does not cover the replacement or repair of the black power supply box on top of the antenna. This is separate part with its own part number and is not a truly part of the antenna but rather a 5 prong to 2 prong power supply, signal box, and adapter that powers and delivers signal inputs from the radio and feeds them to the antenna. If you send me an antenna with a non existent or non working power connecter box I cannot give you a good one or repair yours ! You must provide a good one with the antenna or source one on your own ! I may be able to sell you one from my inventory but this is not always guaranteed. If you don’t follow this I will contact you once and if I don’t hear from you I will rebuild your antenna and then ship it back to you and you will need handle the power supply box on your own. Purchasing my rebuilt power antenna is a great alternative to the risk of buying used and wondering how long it was last or spending over $700 on a new OEM one, or worse yet buying one of the aftermarket ones that is a nightmare. I am parting out a numerous amount of cars and recycling all good/working parts from these cars. I take extra special care in salvaging everything from these sophisticated cars and I look over all the cars and test their parts to the best of my ability before shelving and listing them for sale.
