**Reference:** SK64 (T-172) **Description:** All GM rear disc brake conversion removed from an 85 Monte Carlo SS. About 30 years ago I took all of the rear disc brake parts off of a 1992 Trans Am, and installed it all on an 82 Malibu. Worked out so good that I did it several more times on other G-Body cars. THIS was the last one I put together. I installed these parts on an 85 Aerocoupe project and not long after that, lost interest in the project. Car has been sitting quite a while, hence the rust on the rotors. (they'll clean up though). All of these parts were removed initially from a 92 Trans-Am. The shims allow you to bolt these to a G-body 7.5 rear end and adjust them the right distance so the caliper centers on the rotors. Rotors are 11-3/4" vented (GM). Pads were new and probably still good to use, but need cleaned up. NOTE: You will have to source some metric-standard fittings in order to connect the G-body brake lines to the Trans Am brake hoses.
