This version included in this listing will mount & function exactly the same with no modification. This is the part that's hidden in the passenger side kick panel, behind the passenger-side kick-panel. It is the 2nd of two vacuum actuators in the a/c system that's function is to block external air flow from getting inside the passenger compartment in a/c recirculation mode. This enables the air conditioning system to function at it's best by cooling & re-cooling the air in the passenger compartment. If your air conditioning doesn't seem to be getting cold enough, there's a possibility the vacuum actuator might need to be replaced. Includes mounting bracket, linkage, actuator, door & spring. Ready to install & use. The vacuum actuator has been tested to function correctly and does not show any signs of dry-rotting. The door and rubber seal is in excellent condition.
