63-64 Corvette OEM GM 3 Speed Manual Transmission Tailhousing 3819113 Saginaw

This is an original Saginaw 3 speed manual transmission tailhousing that is specific to 1963-1964 Corvettes. The casting number is 3819113. This housing was only used for 2 years and only on the Corvette. This housing is Corvette only due to the cast in shifter mounting ears. This housing has a casting date of C304 which decodes as March 30th, 1964. The other 3 speed parts like the maincase, gears, and side cover are easy to find since they were used widely in other models. This tailhousing is the elusive part and is very hard to find. This is a much needed part for an original/correct Corvette restoration. This tailhousing is in excellent original condition as shown. There are no breaks, repairs, or modifications other than it being primed in red oxide primer as shown. All threads are in good condition with no helicoils or thread inserts.
