This listing is for a nice solid Pontiac engine valley push rod cover. It is from a 1973 Pontiac engine. This was the first year the 455 Super Duty was released and it required a deeper center clearance for EGR equipped engines. This also easily fits non EGR engines and creates less heat at the intake manifold underside. It is from a clean California car and was removed about 40 years ago and kept in dry inside storage. It is very solid and requires some cleanup before installing. It is a very nice original used GM OEM part that fits and look correct with no issues. It is the deeper center pocket type that will easily fit all Pontiac engines from 1960 and newer. The 1967 and newer has the PCV valve grommet located in the front as this does. The 1966 and older has the PCV located in the rear. This will work on the earlier engines with no problem. The PCV hose will need to be a bit shorter to connect is all.
