Good evening: I'm listing a used 28 -PICT Solex carburetor tonight. I've cleaned it inside and out and gave it a polish. The carburetor was taken apart and checked. I jnstalled new top and base gaskets, Accelerator pump and choke pull off diaphragms were replaced. I also replaced the carburetor top with a newer one so that a 12 volt choke element could be used and thereby a more plentiful 12 volt electrical system could be used. I then gave it a polish to make it look better. These old Solexes are hard to get to look good. I do what I can to make them look better. Being that this carburetor is likely close to 60 years old, I cannot warranty it. Also, I don't have a running VW motor to set them up on. You'll either get a good running carb or a good carburetor for new and used parts that will interchange with other PICT Carburetors. Thanks for looking!
