Installation must be completed by an ASE certified mechanic at a licensed facility. Any other installation method will void the warranty immediately. - Diagnose and determine the original transmission failure cause and perform appropriate repairs. - Confirm the transmission is correct for the application of installation. - Clear all diagnostic codes from the vehicle prior to installing transmission. - Change the oil pan and replace the oil filter. - Replace gaskets and seals (oil pan gasket, front seal, rear seal, ect.) - Properly install torque converter into the front pump per manufacturer guidelines. - Replace all sensors as needed. - Remove all plugs and covers used for shipping. - Flush the transmission cooler lines and all other cooling hardware to ensure the cooling system is flowing and functioning correctly. - Follow manufacturer recommendations for replacing the radiator and cooler during transmission change. - Fill the transmission with OEM manufacturer recommended fluids. - Most transmissions will need to be re-programmed into the vehicle after installation. Contact your local dealer to verify if programming is required for your vehicle. We do not reimburse for any additional services needed. - Any other modifications to the transmission will void the warranty. ##### What is covered: Transmission warranties are limited to transmission case and internal components (unless mentioned in the not covered section). ##### What is not covered: It is the installers responsibility to replace the radiator/transmission cooler and flush all transmission cooling lines to ensure the cooling system is working properly. Other responsibilities include: replacing all filters and seals, replacing all external switches and sensors, programming the transmission to the vehicle, clearing all prior codes, and adjusting shifter mechanisms. If the transmission requires programming and the installer is unable to program the transmission to the vehicle, it is required that a dealership of the same manufacturer is to perform this service (the vehicle cannot be driven until this is preformed).
