Primer sealer fills in the sand marks and acts as an adhesion coating guaranteeing the basecoat/clearcoat will not flake from the plastic part. **Second:** Depending on the color of the part, we will use a colored waterborne flexible primer sealer that closely matches the color of your car. **Third:** After the primer sealer has dried, we then apply basecoat and clearcoat that perfectly matches your vehicle. The part is NOT molded correctly and is slightly different in overall design. Overtime as you drive it vibrates itself loose from the wind resistance and falls off. Or if you go through a car wash, it will get ripped off instantly. If you were to purchase the part unpainted and bring to ANY bodyshop they are going to charge you roughly $85 to $150 depending on the color to paint this part. It takes just as long to paint a small part as it does a larger part. The setup time, and paint times in the spray booth are the same.
