2004-2006 VW 1.9L PD BEW TDI Engine Camshaft - Genuine - 038 109 101 R

Original equipment (OE), genuine Volkswagen 1.9L BEW Pumpe Düse (PD) TDI engine camshaft, camshaft bearings, and engine camshaft followers. BEW TDI are found in 2004, 2005, and 2006 New Beetle and Golf. Additionally, they are found in 2004 Jetta and Jetta Wagon. Vehicles equipped with the 1.9L BEW TDI will have the letter 'R' in the fifth digit of the VIN. Camshaft, bearings, and followers were salvaged with unknown mileage. This camshaft is in excellent condition with all lobes crisp and chamfered edges intact. Pumpe Düse (PD) TDI, including the BEW TDI, are notorious for camshaft wear. Replace your worn out camshaft with this genuine Volkswagen camshaft and renew your vehicle's engine for a fraction of the cost of an aftermarket kit. Camshaft hydraulic followers and camshaft journal bearings are included with the lot. Bearings and followers have been labeled with their original positions to facilitate their reinstallation in the same position (see last photo). Lower bearings exhibit a bit of wear, but this is common from the downward pressure exerted from the Pumpe Düse engine camshaft. All in all, I would not hesitate to install this camshaft into my PD TDI. In fact, my 2004 Golf currently has a salvaged camshaft, bearings, and followers installed.
